If your Dryer Vent Duct contains a large amount of debris, there is a fairly good chance that the brush from a Dryer Vent Cleaning kit will compact the lint into a densely packed blockage.
If this occurs, then you will definitely need a Professional, and it can be quite difficult to remove. The Good news is, if this is your case, we won't charge you extra.
Also keep in mind that most Dryer Vent Ducts are made up of interlocking segments that are taped together
(no screws used in ducting).
So if you are using a Dryer Vent Cleaning Brush, don't push to hard or there is a Possibility that you could dislocate part of your Dryer Vent Ducting. This could become a major issue.
Dryer Vent Duct Length is one of the most important factors for the Performance and Maintenance of your Dryer.
The Longer your Dryer Vent Duct line is, the more often it should be cleaned.
You will need to be able to get behind the dryer to disconnect/reconnect the Dryer Vent Transition Duct, and Clean the exhaust port of your Appliance.
This could require a lot of Strength or Flexibility and could lead to injury. Please be careful.
