Clothes take a long time to Dry?
More than one
Cycle to dry your clothes?
If it feels like you're standing around just waiting forever for your clothes to actually dry...
then most likely it's Time to Clean your Dryer Vent.
When Dryer Vent Lint builds up inside the Dryer and Vent Ducting, it traps heat and moisture, and Reduces the Airflow to the Dryer.
Poor Performance is the #1 Sign of a Dirty Dryer Vent!
This will severely reduce the Performance of your Machine and will Waste your Time and Money, and could even be potentially unsafe.

Dryer has no Heat?
Dryer Turns Off? No Heat?
Every Dryer made in the last 25 years has a Thermostat or Heat Sensor. This regulates the internal temperature of the Appliance.
If your Clothes Dryer is not venting effectively, the Sensor will override or disable the the Heat Coil until it the machine returns to a safe temperature.
If your Dryer is constantly overheating, eventually the Thermostat or Heat Coil will fail and require replacement parts and repair.
and not so Smart Dryers
Many of today's 'Smart Dryers' have FlowSense technology which can diagnose obstructions in the Dryer Vent exhaust.
These Machines will give you codes such as D60, D80, D90 (essentially telling you your Dryer Vent is 60%, 80% or 90% blocked).
But older Dryers don't have this technology. And if they're not venting effectively, they'll just switch over to 'Air Only Mode' until the internal temperature of the Machine is reduced, which could be a long time.
